He’s an up and coming artist on Thievery Corporation’s ESL Music label, which describes him as a “mysterious rogue hailing from Washington DC [with a] a voice like honey and the sensibilities of a man that’d make Isaac Hayes and Curtis Mayfield blush.” He’s half-Scottish, half-Asian, grew up in an orphanage, and churns out a somehow very DC blend of funky grooves.
